International Student Health Insurance has been specifically designed for:

Important advantage for parents and guardians
One of the great advantages of this insurance is that the premium is calculated exclusively based on the student's profile, considering only the student's age and health conditions. The parent or guardian is not included in the calculation of the insurance value. Their role is limited to paying the premium, without any impact on the final cost. This makes the insurance more affordable and fair, regardless of the age or history of the person paying.
What the Insurance Covers
Hospitalization
The plan guarantees full coverage for hospitalization, including hospital accommodation, medical fees, surgery and anesthesia, intensive care, emergency treatment, and psychiatric hospitalization for up to 30 days.
Outpatient clinic
Under the outpatient plan, insurance covers medical and specialist consultations, prescription drugs, diagnostic tests such as clinical analyses, CT scans, and MRIs, physical therapy, and complementary therapies. A deductible of £20, $40, or €30 per treatment applies, which is a fixed amount paid by the student at the beginning of each clinical situation. This excess acts as a small initial contribution and is paid only once for each clinical situation. From that moment on, all expenses related to the same treatment are covered by the insurance, within the conditions and limits of the plan.
Medical assistance and evacuation
The medical assistance and evacuation component provides emergency transport to appropriate hospital facilities, repatriation in the event of death, return to the country of origin when a direct family member dies, and accommodation for a companion when medically indicated.
Additional Benefits
The plan includes coverage in your home country for up to 60 days in medical emergencies, accidental death compensation of up to €30,000, and access to international medical support services such as:
Teladoc Health, for specialized second medical opinions
Crisis24, for crisis management and non-medical evacuations
Blood Care Foundation, for certified blood supplies in emergencies anywhere in the world
Who can join
The insurance is intended for Mozambican students or students of other nationalities who are studying outside their country of origin, aged between 18 and 40, regularly enrolled in universities or recognized educational institutions and who are not attending courses in the United States or the Caribbean. Proof of enrollment must be provided in order to join.

The insurance does not cover family dependents
Additional coverage for pre-existing medical conditions
This insurance allows you to optionally include coverage for emergency treatment related to illnesses or medical conditions that existed prior to taking out the insurance, subject to approval.

Coverage becomes active after 6 months
A grace period of 60 days applies.
